New Times Shipbuilding has delivered a 112,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel product and crude oil tanker to Capital. The handover ceremony for the vessel, hull number 0311552, was held on 21 May at New Times Office Building. The tanker is the 52nd hull in the series and features dual-fuel capability, allowing it to operate on LNG or conventional marine fuels depending on availability and operational needs. Representatives from New Times Shipbuilding included CEO Liu Haijin, Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Yuyong, and Deputy General Manager and Executive Director Yuan Heng. Capital was represented by Nikolaos Vaporis and Andreas Gkatzoflias. This delivery reflects ongoing developments in cleaner fuel options within the shipping industry.
