Baozhou (HK) Shpg has placed an order for container ships with Yangfan Group Co Ltd - Zhoushan Shipyard. The vessels will have a capacity of 2,700 TEU, measuring 188.8 meters in length, 32.2 meters in width, with a draught of 9.5 meters and a depth of 17.1 meters. These conventional fuel-powered ships are scheduled for delivery throughout 2028, starting from January 1. The order was confirmed on 27 May 2026. This addition aligns with Baozhou's ongoing fleet expansion strategy to enhance its container shipping capabilities. The newbuilds will contribute to the company's operational capacity in the competitive container shipping market.
