JIANGSU DAJIN HEAVY INDUSTRY CO LTD has signed a contract to build a heavy-lift/project cargo vessel for Jumbo Shipping Co SA. The vessel will have a deadweight tonnage of 25,000 DWT, measuring 163 meters in length, 30 meters in width, and 16 meters in depth. It will be classed by DNV and is scheduled for delivery between 1 July 2028 and 31 December 2029. This newbuild will enhance Jumbo Shipping's fleet capabilities in transporting heavy and project cargoes. The contract signing was officially announced on 24 May 2026. The order reflects continued demand for specialized heavy-lift vessels in global maritime logistics.
