Zodiac Maritime Ltd has placed an order for two pure car and truck carriers (PCC/PTC) with a capacity of 7,000 CEU each at YANTAI CIMC RAFFLES OFFSHORE LIMITED. The vessels will be LNG-capable, reflecting the company's commitment to cleaner fuel technology. Delivery of the newbuildings is scheduled between January and December 2028. The UK-based shipowner, controlled by Eyal Ofer, continues to strengthen its fleet with this latest contract at its preferred Chinese shipyard. This move adds to Zodiac Maritime's extensive orderbook and supports its strategic focus on modern, environmentally compliant car carrier vessels. The new ships will enhance Zodiac Maritime's capacity in the global car and truck transportation market.
