On 18 May 2026, China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Group Qingdao Shipyard Co., Ltd. held the naming and delivery ceremony for two 82,000 DWT bulk carriers, Hull No.15 and 16. These vessels were built for Greece’s Star Bulk Group. The ceremony marked the official handover of the ships, expanding Star Bulk's fleet capacity. The new bulk carriers are expected to enhance the company's operational capabilities in the dry bulk shipping sector. This delivery continues the ongoing collaboration between China Merchants Shipbuilding and Star Bulk Group.
