Yangzijiang Delivers First 24,000 TEU LNG Dual-Fuel ULCV

ship in a series of ten 24,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships ordered by CMA CGM in June 2023, with the contract valued at approximately $2.4 billion. Measuring 399.9 meters in length and 61.3 meters in beam, the vessel features an 18,600-cubic-meter membrane LNG fuel tank enabling round-trip Asia-Europe operations on a single LNG bunkering. Classed by , it offers LNG dual-fuel propulsion to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency. Construction began in November 2024 and was completed 50 days ahead of schedule after 552 days. The remaining nine vessels will be delivered between 2026 and 2027.
