Evergreen Marine (Asia) Pte. Ltd. has approved the order of five 24,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ships. The vessels will be built by CSSC GUANGZHOU LONGXUE SHIPBUILDING CO.,LTD, with prices ranging from USD 262 million to USD 295 million each, totaling between USD 1.31 billion and USD 1.475 billion. The contract was finalized on 14 May 2026 through negotiation based on market prices. These ships will be powered by dual-fuel LNG, aligning with the company's environmental and operational goals. Delivery is scheduled between January 2029 and December 2030. This order supplements a previous announcement made on 12 February 2025. The new vessels are intended for commercial use, enhancing Evergreen Marine's fleet capacity and sustainability.
