NB 986, the sixth wind farm service vessel (CSOV) built by VARD for Norwind Offshore, was successfully launched last week at Vard Shipyards Romania-Brăila. The vessel is based on the VARD 4 19 design and is customized for sustainable offshore wind operations. Following the launch, production work will continue in Brăila before the vessel is towed to Vard Søviknes for final outfitting and completion. This launch marks a significant milestone in VARD's ongoing collaboration with Norwind Offshore to support offshore wind projects. The project involves multiple partners, including FINCANTIERI Seaonics AS, Vard Electro, and Vard Interiors.
