BW LNG AS has placed an order for three LNG carriers with HD Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co Ltd (HSHI). The vessels will each have a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and will be powered by dual-fuel LNG engines. The contract was finalized on 12 May 2026. Delivery of the ships is scheduled between 1 January and 31 July 2029. This order reflects ongoing demand for modern LNG carriers equipped with environmentally friendly propulsion systems. The newbuilds will enhance BW LNG's fleet capabilities in the growing LNG transportation market.
