DOF Group Secures 12-Year Charter for Four New RSVs in Brazil

vessels will be built by Estaleiro Navship and feature hybrid power propulsion using ethanol, diesel, and battery packs. Each vessel will measure approximately 98 meters in length, 20 meters in width, and have a draught of 6.3 meters. They will be DP2 classed by ABS, equipped with subsea cranes, accommodate up to 58 personnel, and carry two work-class ROVs. DOF Subsea Brasil will operate the vessels, while DOF is exploring alternative ownership structures. The first two vessels are expected to be delivered within four years of contract signing.
