Royal Caribbean Group has confirmed orders for the sixth and seventh Icon Class cruise liners from MEYER TURKU SHIPYARD, with deliveries scheduled for 2029 and 2030. These vessels will continue the dual-fuel LNG-powered Icon Class series, designed to carry 7,600 passengers each. The orders are part of
a long-term framework agreement securing shipbuilding capacity through 2036. MEYER TURKU has built 25 ships for Royal Caribbean over three decades, including two Icon Class ships already delivered and others scheduled through 2027. The Icon Class represents the largest industrial projects in Finland, supporting approximately 13,000 jobs and contributing over one billion euros annually to the Finnish economy. Royal Caribbean's Icon Class is central to its strategy of innovation and expanding vacation experiences, with ongoing investments in next-generation ships and private destinations. The seventh ship order remains subject to customary conditions, including financing.
