Following its financial restructuring, French offshore shipping company Bourbon has added 13 vessels to its fleet, including platform supply vessels (PSVs) and anchor handling tugs (AHTS), with investments exceeding 180 million dollars. Six ships were acquired from the Chinese Minsheng Group, comprising five PSVs and one AHTS with
an 80-ton bollard pull. Additionally, two large-capacity PSVs, the "Bourbon Front" and "Bourbon Clear," were purchased from Chinese financial house ICBC, complementing the "Bourbon Calm" acquired in September 2025. Two AHTS were reactivated, and the "Bourbon Evolution 810," designed for deep-sea underwater operations, joined the fleet in February. Two 27-meter crewboats are expected by the end of 2025, already contracted for five years. This expansion follows Bourbon's recapitalization and restructuring last year, supported by new shareholders including Davidson Kempner Capital Management and Fortress Investment Group. The company aims to secure long-term growth through further transactions.
