**Naming Ceremony for New 115,000 DWT Aframax Tanker** On 1 Apr 2026, Zhoushan Changhong International Shipyard held the naming ceremony for the 115,000 DWT product and crude oil tanker NAVE EQUATOR, built for Greek shipowner Navios. The vessel is a new-generation LR2/Aframax deep-well pump tanker designed according to the latest codes and regulations. It measures approximately 249.9 meters in length, with a molded breadth of 44 meters and a molded depth of 21.5 meters. The tanker is classed with ABS and is scheduled for completion and delivery by the end of April 2026. Once delivered, NAVE EQUATOR will operate on global shipping routes, enhancing Navios’ fleet capacity in the product and crude oil tanker segment.
