DryDel Shipping marked a significant milestone during the cherry blossom season with the Naming and Delivery ceremony of its newest vessel, MV Super Dry. Built by OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING CO.,LTD., the 42,500 DWT Handymax dry bulk carrier features the latest ECO design for improved operational flexibility and performance. This vessel is the first in a series of four Japanese newbuilds set to join DryDel's fleet by mid-2026, further boosting the company's presence in the dry bulk market. DryDel's fleet modernization program continues, with an additional 10 dry bulk vessels scheduled for delivery over the next two years. The ceremony was attended by DryDel's CEO Costas Delaportas, representatives from OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING, financiers, Japanese partners, and the DryDel team. The company expressed gratitude to all involved parties and wished MV Super Dry safe and successful voyages.
