Russian Arctic Gas Tanker 'Konstantin Posiet' Begins Sea Trials

2 project, following the delivery of the lead vessel 'Alexey Kosygin' in December 2025. With a length of 300 meters and a cargo capacity of 172,600 cubic meters of LNG, 'Konstantin Posiet' features a reinforced steel hull for ice-breaking and a diesel-electric propulsion system capable of operating on LNG for reduced emissions and improved efficiency. The ship also incorporates advanced membrane tank technology using certified materials from Russian supplier Segezha Group.
