French shipping giant CMA CGM has received the CMA CGM Grand Palais, a dual-fuel container vessel with a capacity of around 24,000 TEU, including space for up to 2,200 refrigerated containers. The 399-metre-long ship is among the largest LNG-powered boxships in operation and is equipped with a dual-fuel propulsion system that can run on liquefied natural gas, reducing emissions compared to conventional ships. This delivery supports CMA CGM’s ongoing fleet expansion with environmentally friendly vessels, reinforcing its commitment to lower-carbon shipping on global trade routes.
