Korea's Pan Ocean has committed KRW228 billion ($154 million) to the construction of two new Newcastlemax vessels at Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding. According to the announcement, the shipbuilding contract is expected to be completed by March 27, 2031, with the delivery of both vessels.
