Japan’s Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) has acquired a 25% minority stake in V.Ships France, strengthening their partnership in the LNG shipping sector. The Tokyo-based shipping giant purchased the stake through its subsidiary, MOL Euro Energie. V.Group will retain the remaining 75% ownership. As part of the agreement, V.Ships France will assume full technical management of two newbuild LNG carriers scheduled for delivery to energy group INEOS in 2027.
