On March 9, Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and Norwegian shipowner KNOT finalized a contract for the construction of a 154,000 DWT shuttle tanker. This marks the fourteenth shuttle tanker collaboration between the two companies, reinforcing their long-term strategic partnership. The vessel, measuring 279 meters in length and 48 meters in moulded breadth, is designed by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and will be classed by DNV. It will feature an advanced DP2 dynamic positioning system and bow loading system, meeting high international technical standards.
