Norwegian short-sea shipping company Halten Bulk has announced the signing of a contract with Jiangsu Soho Marine Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. to construct up to four 7,100 DWT self-unloading bulk carriers. The vessels will feature the NSD 105CC design by The Norwegian Ship Design Company, emphasizing low-carbon emissions and compatibility with wind-assisted propulsion. This initiative continues the 'Powered by Nature' concept developed in collaboration with Egil Ulvan Rederi.
