**Hengli Heavy Industry Secures Bulk Carrier Order from MARAN DRY**
On 11 Feb 2026, Hengli Heavy Industry signed a shipbuilding contract with MARAN DRY, the dry bulk arm of Greece’s Angelicoussis Shipping Group, at its yard in China.
Under the agreement, Hengli Heavy Industry will build six 180,000 dwt Capesize bulk carriers (four firm plus two options). This marks MARAN DRY’s first newbuild bulk carrier order since 2021 and underscores its confidence in the yard’s construction quality and delivery track record.
No vessel names or IMO numbers were disclosed. Technical specifications, including hull design and propulsion details, were not released.
