China Delivers Advanced LNG Carrier 'Tianshan' in Shanghai

vessel features a state-of-the-art dual-fuel low-speed propulsion system, reducing daily carbon emissions by over 10 tons compared to conventional ships. The 'Tianshan' measures 295 meters in length and 45 meters in width, and is equipped with an advanced cargo containment system for safe transport of liquefied natural gas at -163°C. The delivery was supported by local port authorities, including the border inspection office. Hudong-Zhonghua currently holds over 80 newbuilding orders, 80% of which are for green vessels, with deliveries scheduled through 2030.
