At Marintec China 2025 in Shanghai, Winning International Group signed a contract for six 325,000-DWT WINNINGMAX Very Large Ore Carriers (VLOCs) with CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding and CSSC Trading. The new vessels, designed in partnership with the China Shipbuilding Design and Research Center, are tailored for the West Africa–China trade and feature advanced green technologies such as EEDI Phase III compliance and methanol-ready fuel systems. This order brings Winning's WINNINGMAX fleet under construction to 16 ships, positioning the company to play a crucial role in meeting rising tonne-mile demand following the start of the Simandou iron ore project. The strategic expansion aims to support the evolving logistics of the Guinea–China iron ore and bauxite corridor while promoting environmentally responsible shipping.
