The Grande Istanbul is designed for sustainability, featuring a state-of-the-art engine, shore-power readiness, and 'Ammonia Ready' class notation from RINA, which together cut CO₂ emissions per transported unit by up to 50% compared to older vessels. With a capacity of 9,241 CEU and advanced cargo features, the new ship will enhance Grimaldi’s East Asia–Persian Gulf route offerings and marks another milestone in the company’s commitment to green shipping.
