The NOCC Pacific, a state-of-the-art LNG-powered car carrier built for Norwegian Car Carriers, has been officially named. The vessel, constructed by CIMC Raffles at the Longkou shipyard, features dual-fuel engines and two type-C LNG tanks, allowing it to operate with zero emissions while in port. Classified by DNV and 'Ammonia-Ready,' the NOCC Pacific is also equipped with the new 'EV notation' to safely transport electric vehicles. Measuring nearly 200 meters in length and with a capacity of 7,000 CEU, the ship is one of several PCTCs scheduled for delivery in 2025.
