**MISC Orders LNG Dual Fuel Suezmax Pair**
Malaysian shipowner MISC signed contracts on 24 Nov 2025 with an undisclosed shipyard for two LNG dual fuel Suezmax tankers to be operated by AET under long-term time charters. The vessels will expand MISC’s dual-fuel fleet across its Aframax, Shuttle and VLCC sectors alongside the new Suezmaxes.
Zahid Osman, President & Group CEO of MISC, said the orders reflect the company’s commitment to fleet renewal and decarbonisation. The group currently operates 106 vessels with 21 newbuilds due over the next two to three years. Delivery dates were not disclosed. Further details on construction milestones and class approvals are expected as the shipyard finalises specifications.
