On October 27th, the vessel NB 974 for Purus was launched for the first time at Vard Vung Tau. This Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) is one of two ships being designed and constructed for Purus, aiming to advance sustainable offshore wind operations. The vessel features the upgraded VARD 4 19 design, which was developed by Vard Design in Ålesund in close collaboration with Purus. Key features include a hull optimized for low fuel consumption and resistance, high operability, and enhanced onboard comfort. This milestone highlights ongoing efforts toward more efficient and environmentally responsible maritime operations.
