**Maritima Starts Construction of Two Bunker Vessels** On 09 Oct 2025, [Maritime] Maritima, a subsidiary of Sogestran Group, began construction of two new bunker vessels for Petroineos at China Merchants Industry Yangzhou Dingheng Shipyard in Yangzhou, China.
Each vessel will offer a cargo capacity of 4,500 m³ and be certified for oil and chemical transport. They will carry marine diesel, fuel oils and low-carbon fuels (B24, B100, HVO and e-Methanol) simultaneously. The design by Deltamarin Shanghai features diesel-electric propulsion with three generator sets, two stern azimuth thrusters, a bow tunnel thruster, shore power connection and mass flow meters for delivery monitoring. Bureau Veritas will class the ships under SMC construction supervision.
Steel cutting is scheduled for November 2026, with launch in 2027 and delivery in early 2028.
