China Merchants Energy Shipping has celebrated the successful naming of its first large-scale LNG carrier. The vessel is also the first of its kind to be independently built and delivered by DSIC (Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.). This milestone signifies that China now boasts three shipyards capable of constructing and delivering large-scale LNG carriers.
