On September 24, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. (DSIC), a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), marked a significant milestone by delivering its first-ever 175,000 cubic meter LNG carrier, SEA SPIRIT. The vessel was handed over to China Merchants Gas Transport (CM LNG), a subsidiary of China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES). This achievement highlights China's growing capabilities in LNG shipbuilding and strengthens its position in the global energy shipping sector.
