**Everllence Secures Engine Order from Qingdao Beihai Shipyard** Everllence has finalized an order for 10 methanol-fuelled engines from Qingdao Beihai shipyard, according to a company statement on Thursday. These engines are designated for 325,000 dwt very large ore carriers being constructed for Shandong Shipping and Bohai Ocean Shipping. The vessels will be under charter to Vale S.A., a Brazilian miner, to facilitate iron ore transport from Brazil to China. The dual-fuel engines will feature Everllence’s EGRTC system, ensuring Tier III NOx compliance and enhancing the vessels’ environmental credentials. The deal underscores a growing trend in the maritime industry toward methanol-powered ships as part of broader decarbonization efforts. Engine deliveries are expected to align with ship construction schedules.
