Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing Co., Ltd., established in February 2025, has quickly entered the spotlight after announcing two significant newbuilding contracts. The newly founded shipyard has signed deals to construct up to 11 new vessels: a 1+6 order for 4,300 DWT bulk/general cargo ships with Jinhua Shipping, and a 1+3 order for 14,000 DWT bulk/general cargo vessels with Dalian TRAWIND SHIPPING. Supported by modern facilities and a focus on multipurpose, heavy-lift, and energy-efficient ships, Xinhai Shipbuilding aims to serve both domestic and international markets. The rapid progress marks a strong debut for the company, signaling its ambition to become a major player in China's shipbuilding industry.
