Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Secures 115,000 dwt Tanker Order Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industrial - CSSC announced on 18 August 2025 that it has secured an order from NANJING TANKER CORP for two 115,000 dwt tankers. The vessels, which will be powered by conventional fuel, are scheduled for delivery between July and September 2028. The contract represents a new business opportunity for Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding , which is based in China and has completed 43 orders to date. This marks the second order for NANJING TANKER CORP, a China-based company focused on expanding its fleet with larger, more efficient vessels. Each ship in the order carries a price tag of USD 74 million, reflecting the market's stable demand for conventional-fuel tankers amidst the industry's ongoing evolution. Delivery of both vessels is expected to enhance operational capacity once completed by September 2028.
