On August 7th, 2025, the keel laying ceremony was successfully conducted for a new Pollution Response cum Security Vessel being constructed for Ocean Sparkle Limited, a part of the Adani Group. The event was attended by Shri. Sanjaykumar Kewalramani, Chief Operating Officer of SSIDL and OSL, as well as senior stakeholders from Ocean Sparkle Limited (OSL) and members of the Shoft Shipyard team. The vessel, designed for pollution control, personnel and material transport, coastal and harbor security, as well as rescue operations, is expected to enhance response capabilities in maritime safety upon completion. The ship measures 31.5 meters in length and will be classified under the Indian Register of Shipping.
