Elbdeich Reederei has announced a significant expansion of its fleet, placing orders for two state-of-the-art 5,100 TEU widebeam container vessels in the Far East. These super-eco, Tier III vessels, equipped with advanced fuel-saving technologies, are scheduled for delivery in 2027. In addition, the company has acquired two Sietas 178 type vessels: ELBSUMMER (formerly Navi Baltic) and Elysee (soon to be renamed ELBSPRING), which were the last container vessels built at the renowned Sietas shipyard.
