A significant milestone in sustainable maritime innovation was reached with the keel laying ceremony of four advanced general cargo vessels at PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard in Vietnam. These ships, being constructed for CMB.TECH and Boeckmans in cooperation with Handelskade Engineering, are set to be classified by RINA. The vessels are designed with hydrogen-ready arrangements, highlighting the shipping industry's shift towards low-emission technologies. The project showcases international collaboration and technical achievement, aiming to set a new standard for environmentally responsible shipping.
