Sanmar to Build Sister Tug for Ultratug Colombia

Ltd. Measuring 24.4 meters in length, the tug will be well-equipped with CAT 3516E engines, promising a bollard pull of 75 tons. The tug will meet IMO Tier III emission standards, utilizing a Caterpillar SCR system to reduce NOx emissions, reinforcing its green credentials. Designed for efficiency, it will include accommodations for up to eight crew members. Rüçhan Çıvgın, the Commercial Director at Sanmar, expressed satisfaction with this new collaboration, while Silvia Herrera of Ultratug Colombia emphasized the company's commitment to a modern fleet.
