Beibu Gulf Tugboat (FangchengPort) Co., Ltd has placed an order for two new tugboats, continuing its expansion in the maritime industry. The order was confirmed on June 12, 2025, with the vessels set to be delivered between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.
The tugboats will be manufactured by JIANGSU ZHENJIANG SHIPYARD (GROUP) CO LTD in China. This shipyard, well-known for its expertise, has a strong history of delivering maritime vessels, with this order marking its 103rd. The vessels will be constructed using conventional fuel.
Each tugboat has been ordered at a price of $3.92 million. This investment highlights the orderer's commitment to enhancing their fleet capabilities without committing to alternative fuel technologies.
