This contract modification, which could potentially increase to $59.9 million, is pivotal for bolstering the Navy's operational capabilities. Construction for this project will be conducted at Conrad Shipyard 's Amelia, Louisiana facility, with an expected completion date of March 2027. The financing for the contract comes from the Navy’s fiscal year 2024 shipbuilding
