Sefine Shipyard Orders Third Offshore Crane from Techano Oceanlift

heave compensated (AHC) winch equipped with a 3,200-meter wire for underwater operations, a 3D compensation mechanism for topside lifts, and advanced control and motion compensation systems provided by Intellilift. Intended for subsea and offshore wind tasks, the vessel will support inspection, maintenance, and repair functions. It is designed to be 99.9 meters long and 21 meters wide, offering accommodation for up to 100 personnel. This latest crane order follows previous collaborations between Sefine Shipyard and Techano Oceanlift. The first order, currently nearing completion, involves a 70-metric ton crane for an Agalas vessel. For the second project, Techano Oceanlift is developing a 150-metric ton crane for another Eidesvik Agalas vessel, which mirrors the specifications of this newest model. “Making a copy helps to de-risk project execution for us, the shipyard, and the shipowners,” stated Øystein Bondevik, business development and sales director at Techano Oceanlift.
