IHC Dredging has strengthened its presence in Indonesia by securing a new contract for two Beaver® 65 cutter suction dredgers. The order was made by PT. Dua Samudera Perkasa, part of the Jhonlin Group, a leading Indonesian company founded by Mr. H. Samsudin Andi Arsyad. This marks the second order from this client, underscoring IHC Dredging's role as a reliable partner in Indonesia’s dredging industry.
The newly ordered Beaver® 65s are designed with a discharge pipe diameter of 650 mm and can dredge up to 25 meters. The vessels come with advanced features such as a fuel separation system and state-of-the-art measurement technologies, which enhance their operational efficiency and accuracy.
This transaction follows the successful delivery of a Beagle® 4 and a Beaver® 65 in 2024 to PT. Jhonlin Marine Trans, another arm of the Jhonlin Group. These acquisitions demonstrate the group’s commitment to expanding its high-tech fleet, relying on the dependable and efficient performance of IHC Dredging vessels.

Currently, the vessels JHONI 59 (Beaver® 65) and SAMSON (Beagle® 4) are operational in Batulicin, South Kalimantan, maintaining essential dredging depths at a coal and biodiesel terminal. IHC Dredging’s engineers remain on-site to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The two new dredgers are anticipated to be delivered by September 2025.
