This agreement marks the shipyard's first major order of 2025 and the inaugural collaboration with a leading Japanese shipowner. The contract entails the construction of a 33,000 DWT deck cargo ship, enhancing Sino-Japanese collaboration in high-tech equipment manufacturing. The signing ceremony was attended by Dalian Shipyard 's Deputy General Manager, He Xu, and NBP's Modular Transportation Manager, Toshikazu Hasegawa. The newly signed deck cargo ship is specifically designed for transporting large modular equipment, classed by the Japan Classification Society (NK) and flying the Panamanian flag.
