U-Ming Marine Transport, a prominent Taiwanese shipping company, has announced a significant expansion of its fleet with a new order placed at Oshima Shipbuilding in Japan. The Taipei-based company has not engaged with this shipyard since the end of 2019, marking a notable return to this partnership. The latest order consists of two state-of-the-art ultramax bulk carriers, each with a deadweight tonnage of 64,000.
