IRAN MARINE INDUSTRIAL CO. SHIPBUILDING (SADRA)

Iran Marine Industrial Company (SADRA) was founded in 1968 in Bushehr as a small ship repair yard and has since grown to become the leading shipbuilding and ship repairing company in Iran. The company is also actively involved in offshore oil and gas development, specializing in the construction of ships, docks, and floating oil rigs. SADRA is equipped with comprehensive facilities for the design, engineering, construction, transportation, and installation of various marine structures and vessels. Its key activities include the construction and repair of diverse ship types such as containers, tankers, tugs, and pipelines, as well as the building of offshore drilling rigs (both self-lifting and semi-floatable) and the installation of fixed offshore oil and gas platforms. The company operates shipyards and marine equipment in both the Persian Gulf (Bushehr) and Caspian Sea (Neka/Mazandaran) regions. Notable projects include the manufacturing of Aframax oil tankers for Venezuela and the domestically-built semi-floatable drilling rig 'Iran-Alborz' for the Caspian Sea. Since 2010, SADRA has also contributed to the development of South Pars phases 13 and 14.
