What is the New Ships Orderbook?
The New Ships Orderbook is an analysis and research tool for the maritime industry. It publishes actual as well as expected ship orders („rumours“) in the international shipping market since 2015.

Which ships are included in the Orderbook?
The global merchant fleet, cruise ships, service vessels and offshore special purpose vessels (no barges, yachts and navy ships). The Orderbook contains all the vessels which have been delivered since 1.1.2015 as well as the current orders and expected ship orders (rumours).

Which size (BRT) must a ship at least have in order to be listed in the Orderbook?
The Orderbook contains ships with a size of at least 200 BRT. Barges are not included. 


Questions concerning account settings

What should I do, if I forgot my password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the menu item “Login/Register”, which you will find in the upper navigation bar, and use the “Password forgotten” function.

How can I change my password?
Please click on the menu item “My Profile” in the upper navigation bar. In the menu that opens up you can find the menu point “My Account“. Here you can select the option “Change Password” and assign a new password.

How can I change my e-mail address?

Questions about registration and ordering

Can I test the New Ships Orderbook free of charge?
Yes! There is the option to test the Orderbook free of charge for 10 days.

Unfortunately, the test phase was too short for me. Do I have the option to retest?
Please contact our customer service by phone (+49 -421-59589-0) or by e-mail ( and let us know your request. In a justified case, you will have the option to extend the trial period.

Will the test period be automatically converted into a paid subscription after expiry?
No! Before trial perod expires, we´ll contact you with an offer for continued use. 

I have registered, but I haven’t received an activation link. What do I have to do?
Please contact our customer service by phone (+49 -421-59589-0) or by e-mail ( and tell us about your request. We will send you an e-mail with a new activation link.

Questions concerning payment

Which payment options are available?
There is the option of payment by invoice.

In which currency can I settle the account?
The invoice will be issued in Euro. Unfortunately, payment in any other currency is not possible.

I’m purchaser, but not user of the Orderbook. Is it possible to specify a different billing address?
Yes, if you wish to indicate a different invoice address, please contact our customer service by phone (+49 -421-59589-0) or by e-mail ( and inform us about your request.

Questions regarding cancellation

Which terms of notice do I have?
Termination of the licence is possible at any time until the expiry of the booked duration.

How can I cancel?
In order to cancel please send a notice of cancellation by e-mail to, or send a fax to +49 421-59589-99, or send a written notice of cancellation to TRENZ AG, Customer Service, Neidenburger Str. 14, 28207 Bremen.

Questions relating to the licence

I’m interested in upgrading my licence to a longer, less expensive period. Is that possible?

I would like to shorten the duration of my licence. Is that possible?
No, it’s not possible to shorten the duration of you licence.
